Click, Clack, Click, Clack, my pearly claws clicked on the tile as me made my way to the door.

“Be there my love”, me whispered as me quietly slid the door open. The rush of the cool dark air ran its fingers over my furs as me languorously slipped down the stairs. The smells of the leaves, grass and smoke from a distant fire tickled my nostrils. The grass was a black velvet carpet spreading towards the trees coated in shadows. It was beautiful. It was the most romantic place in the world.

He was here! He had escaped, as had me! His luxurious pelt matched my own gorgeous lilac and cream His dark locks framed his perfect face and his golden green eyes looked deeply into my azure eyes and He had a single amethyst rose at his feet that me knew was for mes.

“Penelope, my darling Queen”. He leaned forward and gently kissed my upraised slender paw. The butterflies in my tummy had settled down, but now they shuddered with excitement. He leaned forward even further, smiled sweetly at me, causing my heart to run a marathon.

The music of the night was throbbing all around us, the distant hoot of an owl, crickets chirping in the bushes and a solitary song from a night bird. He put his paw out to me and we danced across the lawn, silhouettes in the moonlight, dancing to the sounds of our heartbeats!

Then he leaned down and whispered in French, “ l’héure bleue a été signifié pour nous”

Me smiled and leaned forward and kissed him thoroughly – taking his breath away in one kiss! A kiss that would last forever! And me knew he was the Tom for me forever!

He lips pressed to mine when a weight landed on my back! A Whiney voice in my ear taunted me “Nellie dreams about kissing! Nellie Dreams about kissing!”

Me hates brothers!!!!

Oh Kitties,  Mommy can’t keep up with mes anymore.

Between her regular job, my bog, PlaySafeDogs.com, Beary Good Stuff and Painting, we had to compromise. Right now Beary Good Stuff is on hiatus because the Farm Market does not run in the winter, however there is some special events coming up and the selling canning online is getting very busy. PlaySafeDogs is getting busier, and Mommy has quit painting except for commissions (even though she would like to paint more) and peoples has been asking for her jewelry. As a matter of fact, the gallery where she sells it wants some for the summer!

Reading and talking to everybody on their blogs is taking all the time that Mommy has. So, me is only blogging on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and that’s when me will be visiting and leaving comments too.  So, here is my schedule for February. (Cats should NOT has schedules)

It was almost dark when we gots home and there was lots more snow than when we left.

All that travelling and all that cleaning has made me a very tired cat!

Kozmo, me, the hairy slobbery sisters and Daddy are expecting to spend most of the day sleeping.

Mommy?

No Mommy has to work. After all we needs tuna!

Me was sitting with Daddy watching TV, but because the recliner was SOLD and the sofa was SOLD, there really was not enough room for mes.

Me looked down, and me saw that Kozmo had stolen the doggie bed from our hairy slobbery sister Cinnamon!

He looked sooo comfy, me thought me would join him.

Me was very polite and asked if me could lay with him.

Mommy, Actually she mmeerroowwed and hissed! 

Kozmo purred Yes!

Mommy, actually, he stiffened right up and looked like he was afraid she was going to smack him, like she usually does, and she mmeerrooowed some more.

 Then we snuggled a little closer and me thanked him.

Mommy, Kozmo relaxed a little bit but he was definately scared, she was very softly mmeerrroowwing at him.

I AM a Pawsome Sweetie

First, about 2 weeks ago Dachshund Nola  gived me the  Pawsome Blogger Award.

Nola is pawsome too! In her words, “This blog is about me, Nola. In my opinion, EVERYTHING should be about me, but until my plan for world domination is put into action I’ll have to make do with this blog about me.”

Me knows that cats dominates the world, but Nola is still young.

LIEF which means SWEET in Dutch, Mommy, Daddy, Kozmo and the haiiry slobbery sisters don’t often think of me as sweet. As a matter of fact, me has a really bad temper and me is often very cranky!  Me whaps everybody and everything, but me knows me is sweet (inside).

So is the Island Cats! They are Wally, Ernie and Zoey! Me always loves to see what that Wally is doing. Earnie looks like he has thumbs (Which me could has used using Mommy’s blackberry) and Zoey, me wishes me had some of your floofs while we is in Calgary! They was some of the first cats to visit us when wes started blogging and they aways has fun. Me LOVES their blog, so go and visits them!

Kozmo is amazed and me is surprised!

Me was going to take pictures of the trip and then post a slideshow tomorrow of our voyage.

But Mommy lefted the Memory card for the Camera in the computer.

Bob said we could take pictures with Mommy’s blackberry, so we gots it out of her purse. So, we thoughts we would take some pictures and post and then put them all together as a slideshow and delete the posts.

We found out that we could post to WordPress right from the Blackberry! But me thinks yous needs thumbs to type on one of those! Me and Bob did a horrible job.

We gots lots of peoples who left us messages so we is going to leave all our posts!

It gots even colder as we gots towards Calgary, down to -33! Then it started to warm up and by the time we gots to the little house it was -24.

The trip was uneventful. The roads was Canadian Mountain winter driving.

Wes has a 4 wheel drive heavy duty truck with brand new really knobby tires that will go through anything.

And even though there was some snow blowing around, it was not snowing more.

It was so cold that the roads was not too slick. all in all, a good day for travel.

Now me has chowed down half a can of tuna, me is really cranky (just ask Kozmo and the Hairy slobbery sisters me is whapping everybody and Merrowing at everybody too)

And me is going to bed!
